Someone actually threw this 00 vacuum cleaner away! Can you believe it?

I have seen some vacuums that have a light that tell you when the floor is clean or not or you have dirt on the floor that still needs picked up.
Looks like the dog piece of a monopoly set. My family used to have an old kirby back in the early 90’s. Sucks like a beast! Good find my friend. Glad I subbed!
wow these are like 400 bucks! Even the old ones.
@Zagroseckt nope the little green light is the brush roll indicator. if it is green it means the brush roll is spinning and ok if it is not then some thing is wrong with the brush roll or the belt is bad
very nice vacuum cleaner, i wish i could get one
used kirby vacuums cost as much as new vacuums today and still work better.
I love watching these videos you do on various things, I find myself fascinated with things I would never normally watch, eg, here, a vacuum cleaner :o)
Oh well, their loss is your gain, and that thing is one beefy, good looking piece of engineering :o)
Wow, that steel wooll really bought it up well :o) That thing could last a lifetime :o)
why is this thing so expensive?
Excellent video! Kirby vacuums can be used to shampoo carpet too (with the correct accessory head) and use on wet carpet might explain the corrosion. Those things are tough, I can’t get over someone throwing it away myself. You must be Irish or something, I never have this kind of luck looking for stuff!
Nice 🙂
Most of those are made of die cast zinc rather than aluminum.
Only the New Kirby systems cost around $1000 or more. Used ones are usually fairly inexpensive like between $200 – $400, which is about the cost of a brand new Dyson or less.
The G5 is one of my favorite Kirbys and you got a nice find sir! I personally would put the brushroll on the “2” setting. It is currently on the “3” setting but it’s all good either way. I just think the belts would last longer if it was adjusted to a different position. 🙂
I’ve been using Kirby vacuums since I was a kid, they seriously are amazing pieces of machines.
Kirby vacs are King!! I have had others, and for me.. Kirby is by fare the best. I love it. You know your floors and carpets are clean when you vac with a Kirby.
In the 90s if you spent enough you could get good quality products. Shame that it is not the case these days.
thats not a horse!, thats the scottish terrier from monoply!
