Someone asked me to make a video of this so here it is. I’m thinking of selling this machine.

i have one but it is blue
Does it have the speed control? I have only seen the burgundy, green and black one never a blue
Not is does not have the speed control. I think I may have a video of it somehwere on YouTube, but don’t take my word on that :P.
I looked it just pkguy and mine.
The PowerMax upright was imho the very last high quality vacuum that Hoover manufactured and probably the best performing as well. The Windtunnels that followed you can tell just by using them how much “cheaper” and flimsy they were. Only downside to the PowerMax is the noise.
I have a few Hoover Concepts in my small collection of vacs, my question is: did the PowerMAX replace the Concept Two? Or did they made them both for a period of time? I have a fairly late Concept Two (1988), I have yet to see a more recent version of the C2 than what I have.
The PowerMax came right after the concept 2 and yes there are different versions of the c2 the last ones had the same handle design as this powermax and the top of the line c2 had a sliding power control like my powermax they did away with the electronic one since it had many problems. But yes there were many trim line of the c2.
Thanks for the info! My Concept Two is the tan/burgundy model that has the same handle design as the PowerMAX, but mine does not have the power control. I’m going to post vids of my collection whenever I get over this nasty cold I have. I have a cousin who has/had a more recent PowerMAX upright, probably from 93 or 94. I need to ask her if she still has it.
Vids of my concepts are up!
HOOVER replaced the entire concept line in 1992 with powermax. In my opinion they should have called it concept 3.
is she for sell?
@vacguy99 I brought her in the vac shop as a trade for parts but I can get her back as I did not get parts I just wanted her out of my way.
@vacguy99 no he wont sell you the vacuum for 2 dollars. this isnt a garage sale.
Whats with the kirby bag?
@Abcrokid so none of the powermaxes had the elctronic control?( that would mean I’m the only one with it! I’m sure that only excites me though)
god i wish we had had vacuums like this in the uk we had the concept for a short time but they are very few and far between now so unfair we dont get many cylinder vacuums with powerheads either this country is so boring
