Merlin loves to play with the vacuum cleaner and have mock battles with it. He comes running every time he hears the motor. It usually takes me a while to get the cleaning done. @MrSupersam14 It funny how cats react to the vacuum cleaner. I have 2 that like to play with it and 2 that run away as fast as their little legs can carry them.

@Suzan4B Merlin definitely has a solid right hook when it comes to anything mechanical or a new animal in the house. I’m just waiting for him to decide he wants me to vacuum him.

Gosh, my cat does this too! She will not flee the vacuum, but faces off and swats it!
@drascatha Most cats run in terror but there is definitely a few very special cats that believe vacuums exist just for their amusement. We’re both lucky to have those cats.
Merlin is a strange cat. Well my cats don’t even flinch when our car comes into the drive way. But they would’ve ran from the vacuum. LOL, Merlin is Merlin. :3
@CallyKitten1 Merlin is definitely a little unusual. He hidesο»Ώ for hours when a new person comes to the house but bring out any noise machine and he comes running. I’m sure he’s thinking, “Oh boy, playtime!”
@silverpoint16 What a brave cat. How old is he? When I was six years old, I ran away from the vacuum! I have a brave cat. Gem Gems, he’s my boy, when me and 2 others went hiking in our woods, uh, we kinda got lost. I thought we would just stay where were so we couldn’t get more lost, and Gem Gems came and he actually led the way out, I SWEAR he did! But I had to carry him over the marshy parts! LOL. :3
@CallyKitten1 Merlin is 2.5 years old. Yes, Merlin is his own unique character and he’s my boy. That’s a great story about your cat leading you home. π
@silverpoint16 Thanks! We call Gem Gems the Old Yeller Cat. π LOL. :3 Merlin is pretty young! That’s good, cause the oldest cat, i think, is a cat named Cremepuff in Texas, who lived to be 31 years old I think! The more lives the better! :3

Your cats are soooo cute! How many do you have? I have two and one makes this weird noise like AAARUUU AAARUUU! Is it normal cause she only made it when she came to our new house cause we moved and she has lots of mats but we don`t know if it is the new smell of the house or her mats tugging on her fur? @LpsIsMyThing2 Thank you. I have 4 cats. I have a description of them on my channel. Cats don’t like change so your cat may just be expressing her feeling about the new house. Give her lots of love and attention and I’m sure she will settle down.
