I highly recommend this product for cleaning Intex style above ground pools. The standard pool cleaner that comes with temporary above ground pools is nowhere near sufficient enough to pick up the fine debris that ends up settling on the bottom of the pool. The vacuum that comes with this deluxe kit is a simple yet highly effective design. Since it runs through the included skimmer and your pool’s filter all of the large debris and fine sediment is removed from the bottom of your pool and water! I was pretty impressed with the skimmer also. It performs better than I had expected. It even catches the light film that forms on top of the water from sunscreenstanning lotions! Overall a pretty good product for keeping your pool really clean and at a good price!

Works ok.A little pricey for what you get, but it does the job. Use a fresh cartridge to get maximum flow, and be sure to let all the air out of the hose before plugging in. The filter (bottom valve to remove airpockets from hose, top to remove air in the filter chamber). The part that fits into the strainer gets stopped up with Six leaves and the little vacuum bag needs to be emptied. I have to move more SLOWY than I would like to get it all. It is worth the time to collect all the leaves before starting. If you can see the stuff on the bottom, there is more of it then there should be! I had to change filters after the first go it was worse then I imagened. the flow through the old dirty filter was almost stopped.
Dont leave the hose in the pool, it will take you under! Definitely a hazard for little ones.

|Above ground Vacuum Maintenance Kit,
This kit allowed us to replace the original skimmer assembly as well as getting a vacuum kit designed for our pool. The unit is easy to assemble and is much more efficient than the outfit we used previously. My only regret is that I had not gotten this before. Thank you.
