Here is my lux 6000 with sidekick, this was the best upright they made thus far until they sold the design to several other companies. Now they use the same design as the discovery 2. I have added a HEPA filter to this just because I felt like it and it was available. I have the manual for it but forgot to show it in the video sorry. Well as always enjoy.

I woudlnt mind this or a 3000. They are nice.
well the 6000 and 4000 are pretty much identical but the 3000 is just like the discovery 2 and all the others. Honestly they should have kept making them like this but they sold out to other companies.
My aunt actually has a Discovery II.
Yea they are the same pretty much as the new guardian upright regardless of what the salesman will tell you. This model is just a little more different in the obvious ways.

Why is the hose attached to the vacuum when there is another hose?
one is an electrified hose, the other stays on the vac during use.
The hose that stays on the machine feels like using a modern vacuum.
Silly colby. You get a cord and cut off the ends insert it into the outlet lick your fingers grab the wires and connect it to the sidekick. Your electric hose is so pointless lol.
MMMHHHMMM sound like a great idea, But dont forget sidekicks are air driven.
