No, This is a wire reinforced stretch hose. Let me put it this way, we sell Miele vacuums and parts, we’ve had such few request for the hose, we don’t even have it listed on GoVacuum dot com. That’s because it’s a great hose and has no problems.

One question though, does the hose on the S7 models crush when the vacuums turns on, because many people said their hose would eventually bend out of shape.
