I guess I can say this is another favorite vacuum, but there are only 3 Hoovers of mine I don’t like. All that could be better now is finding out what model exactly that blue one was my family had and owning one.

Nice, and I have to agree, the slide top bags are better than the zipper “deluxe” bag cause the slide style bag has much more surface area than the zipper style bag, thus giving better airflow. That is why this vacuum works better than your others.
I assume they say it hAs a 15.5 amp cleaning effectiveness because its motor is at the base nozzle and a direct air flow where as other vacuums the air and dirt travel through long hoses and such
hey man, I bought this vacuum recently at a garage sale, and I can’t figure out which of the hoover replacement bags to buy. Would the type Y bags fit?

@vacmasterthegreat it looks like it could have a headlight and the attachments look like the ones from a hoover windtunnel
@eureka800, windtunnel attachments are completely different. if I put a motor with a light in there and popped out the red cover and put a lens in place of it, you would never no it origionally didn’t have a light
