  1. you should do a dc25 🙂 they are by pass.. Or the correct term.. CLEAN AIR MOTORED machines.. And that has suction that is centered in the middle.

  2. AND a riccar brilliance could WOOOOOP a royal. Royal basically is a kirby.. Yet kirby is a better machine.

  3. Vacuumlover1, what credentials do you have in the vacuum industry? The Riccar Brilliance (and Radiance) are great vacuums. We sell them at my family’s store also but for cleaning carpet they don’t produce the CFM’s that a Royal does. The Royal is also lighter than both those units while being metal in construction and not plastic. If a customer wants a vacuum with on board tools, the Riccar’s can’t be beat! The Riccars are also made in the USA which is a good thing.

  4. I’m not gonna waste my time or yours describing a Royal vs. Dyson comparison here, no matter what model it is. All Dyson’s are CLEAN AIR machines and will not hold a candle to ANY DIRECT AIR vacuum for cleaning carpet !!! Also, how can you say a Kirby is better than a Royal? I need to hear a response to this…..

  5. Not so fast there, Wclay!! As much as I prefer my Bissell Healthy Home over the Dyson’s, the Dyson DC27, DC28, both versions of the Bissell Healthy Home, & the Hoover T Series would clean as well as this Royal would. Why? BECAUSE THEY DON’T LOSE SUCTION!! And notice how this guy in the video uses the Dyson DC24, which only has 6 amps, & NOT a FULL SIZE Dyson?! I think he KNOWS they are as good, he just won’t admit it because he is biased towards his own brands.

  6. robwalton, you’ve got to be kidding me! A Bissell? LOL…
Amps mean absolutely NOTHING. The Royal shown here is “only” 10 amps. Airflow and agitation are the most important players in dirt removal and clean carpets. All Dyson’s and Bissell’s suck through a 1 1/4 inch hose. The Royal uses a larger inlet all the way to the bag and is a straight shot, no hard turns or curves. robwalton, are you in the vacuum cleaner biz? If so, pony up for a Royal and get yourself clean carpets…..

  7. Bissell’s and Dyson’s don’t lose suction? Nevermind my question to you asking if you are in the vacuum cleaner business. Obviously you are not. Our most REPAIRED vacuums in the store are Dyson and Bissell. No lie….
They both clog and the both need new filters periodically. The Royal just uses a true HEPA bag. Less maintenance and the Royal has a LIFETIME warranty on the metal castings. How much metal are in the Bissell and Dyson? NONE! The Royal weighs less than the Dyson and Bissell also !!

  8. robwalton2007…..Ok, wclay8 and I made this video. We used the DC24 because it was what we had on the sales floor at the time. In addition, we sell Dyson, Hoover, and several other brands here. We are not trying to push any one model because it is what we sell; we are pushing the Royal because no other vacuum works better on carpets, period. We filmed a video comparing the Royal Metal to a full sized DC17, a T-Series Hoover, and a Royal Pro-Series; look for that in a few days. Thanks, Anthony
