Smaller than expected, but a good cleaner.,
Despite shipping hiccups and a few cracks in the plastic which were easily repaired with a bit of duct tape, the vacuum is a great little sucker. I have a 2 bed, 2 bath apt. with 2 cats and a large dog, so I have to empty the container a couple times each room. This would be a lot better for an apartment without pets, but in the end it works really well and cleans great, so it doesn’t really bother me to empty it often. The suction is pretty amazing, my roommates GF has the original DD Breeze (12 amp, non cyclonic) and this really does a better job, pushes easier, and cleans up more dirt even while only having a 10 amp motor. The tools are simple but work fine as well and the hose connects simply and sturdily.
All in all its a great cheap vacuum, I would spend a bit more if I could do it over again and get a heavier duty and larger dirt container vacuum instead. That all said, if you are debating between the ~$50 vacuums, this is probably the one to get as its the latest tech, and genuinely works great.

A Video of the the Dirt Devil Breeze,
Customer Video Review Length:: 3:36 Mins
The Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is a powerful but lightweight upright vacuum cleaner. I have tried other Dirt Devil upright vacuum cleaners with mixed success. Dirt Devils offer a nice combination of power and value, but I have had issues with quality. The Dirt Devil Breeze seems to follow that pattern. It was easy to assemble and offer plenty of power, but I am afraid that the canister will have issues snapping (and staying) in place.
Notes-
– The vacuum is lightweight and can be easily lifted with one hand
– Limited number of attachments – Actually, it only has one 1 attachment – the attachment for the stairs
– Bagless system – all of the debris is trapped in the canister, so the Dirt Devil Breeze does not use a bag. While it does not have bag it does have a washable and reusable filter.
– Assembly is simple – it requires a philips head screw driver and about 5 minutes.
– The Dirt Devil is pretty loud – maybe not much louder than the typical vacuum.
– Plenty of power – it is amazing to see how quickly the canister fills up!
– The canister is difficult to snap back into place. This is a concern because if it falls out of place it will spill all its contents back onto your freshly vacuumed floor.
Final Verdict – The Dirt Devil Breeze is a relatively inexpensive but power bagless vacuum cleaner. I do worry about its longterm durability, but at this price point you are still getting a nice overall value.

Awesome, lightweight, easy to use, picks up a lot, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.,
Amazing. This is my first cyclonic vacuum and I am very pleased with it. I’ve been using a Hoover Tempo for 4 years, it’s worked well. I vacuumed the carpeting before this new Dirt Devil arrived, so I felt it was already fairly clean. New vacuum arrived yesterday and I went over carpeting again with this new one. I was very surprised to see how much it picked up. Clumps of matter which you can see in the plastic container, then empty in the garage. Based on what I see this is the best vacuum I’ve ever had. So I give it 5 stars and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. It’s very lightweight (13.8 lbs. shipping weight) and easy to use. Who knew vacuums do not need to be big & heavy?!. I do feel the assembly directions were weak, however. There was no quick assembly sheet included, the booklet had very small print in 3 languages printed one after another. Dirt Devil (made by Royal, in Ohio) would do new users a big favor if they would include a larger print easy assembly guide in all new boxes. It’s lightweight, easy to use, picks up quite a bit, very fair price, and highly recommended.
