    I researched lots of vacuums and ended up deciding on the Electrolux. I just received it today and used it immediately. Very easy to put together – basically inserting the wand into the vacuum. I was amazed at the amount of dust, hair, etc. it picked up in a small space.

    Pros:
    *long cord
    *Canister easy to empty with a button so you don’t have to touch dirt
    *rubbery protective coating on the outside to protect furniture
    *lots of tools that are all attached to the vacuum – so you don’t have to separately store
    *Great suction

    Cons:
    No light- not a big deal for me
    On the heavier side – but moves very easily on wheels and feels very sturdy

    So far, so good. Just hope it lasts and continues to work well.
