correct me if I’m wrong but don’t 99% of upright vacuums on the market today come with on board tools? Making what you just said apply to all modern vacuums and not just cylinders?
The main different between an upright and a cylinder is that cylinders tend to be straight suction unless using a powerhead and because of the motor being nearer the bag chamber, they have greater suction power than an upright but an upright has the brush roll for deep-down cleaning.
sorcerer you are incorrect. A canister with a powerhead will give you a deep down clean as well
