i really like this sound. it makes me feel sleepy, i dont get cold but i feel relaxed. although i dont really like the beeping, but i still like the noise.

Does anyone else sometimes turn on the vacuum cleaner, and then stand by the vent bit, where the warm air comes out.
The combination of the cool, chilling feeling the sounds gives and the warm air makes me feel pleasantly sleepy.
Some of the vacuum sounds are very relaxing and can put you to sleep. It works with babies I’m told.
i also get this feeling i love it. I had colic when i was a baby. I thought i got the feeling from that. Did you have colic?

i use this vid to scare my kid when she tries to crawl under my desk to get to the wires and my college books so i have a sub and its pretty loud but it gets the job done LOL

I am obsessive of the sound up to the point were I have Mp3 recordings of it to help me sleep or relax. I wasn’t a colic baby but all through my child hood I used to go to sleep it I heard the sound of a vacuum. It doesn’t make me sleepy in a sense its almost like a euphoric type of feeling that makes me hairs stand on end…

I’m a smart guy but when I here the noise of a vaccum I can clear my head and get the answer to any question on my homework and life, I love vaccum sound!!!!
The Hoover convertible is the most relaxing!!But a nice sounding Panasonic will work too..Haha..Great video dude!! Love the duct tape by the way:) Panasonics just keep on running!!

Yes! Exactly, I love that euphoric sensation. I even wrote a brief description about it a while back in the comments of this video clip: 1981 Hoover Heavy Duty Convertible Vacuum Cleaner (I couldn’t copy the link unfortunately) . I think it is now on the second or third page of the comments section, please tell me if this is precisely what you feel!

@A9420 Get that, but only after the wonderful skin tingling sensation, which travels up my body – usually, a tiny draft, or exposed skin which is slightly cooler than the rest is the starting point. Had a tape in the 80’s +90’s (self made) of the perfect vacuum cleaner. Don’t know what model, but have been searching many years to get that sound again.
