Oh, Bama! need help to clarify doubt about: : How do I get rid of “catty” smell in upright vacuum?
I guess I’ve used the upright vacuum to clean up scattered litter more than I realized. When I turn on the vacuum, I smell the dreaded litter box odor, even after changing the bag. Is there a way to get rid of the smell? Is it the hose, maybe?
Try this:

Sprinkle a box of baking soda on the floor and vacumn it up with the hose. Turn off the vacumn and let the baking soda rest in the hose for as long as possible.

Try Zero odor or Scoe 10X. They are both odor eliminators. You can buy them over the internet.
Any nice smelling disinfectant/cologne onto a ball on cotton wool pop it inside your vacuum cleaner and clean, not only will it deoderise your cleaner but also the room you vacuum in without the chemicals being sprayed around
THer is some packages in walmart.you sprinkle them in your vacuum to make it smell better
You might want to suck up baking powder as well as change or check the filter on your vacuum. A lot of people miss looking at the filter, and I’m sure the smell has gotten into its fibers.
