yeah, kudos to the one who followed this little robot with camera :D!
this is beautiful
Great; do you know if it is somehow possible to download the image?
I wonder how you made it?
He messed up your door carpet! 😛
I agree
Don’t let the door open. It would escape and … our world would be clean.
I’m so getting one of these! They crack me up!
so im guessing it took it 1 hour to clean your house?
Hey sorry to ask (I could probably search online) but did you develope the SLAM software? And if so what package did you use? (i.e. like MATLAB) Thanks!
So it took roughly over an hour for this thing to vaccum clean the small house. That’s utterly pathetic if you consider that it’s a job of maybe 7 minutes if you do it yourself. And i’m not even talking about the quality of work done nor the loudness.
IMO the people who voluntarily spend large abounts of money on this are either immature manbabies, miserably suck at basic life tasks or are just abysmally lazy.
It is a 7 minutes you don’t have to do it yourself… and you don’t have to be there anyway for the cleaning so forget about the noise.
My time is worth many times the price of it… well, maybe you have a lot of spare time in your hands and your time is worthless.
@hodenriss i would respect your opinion if it was written with a pencil on a piece of paper.
It is great to see this progress in consumer robotics. We are going to need it.
@nodenriss – If you could vacuum that place in 7 minutes you are doing a far worse job, and that is just cleaning the same areas it cleaned. You obviously don’t vacuum often. A human cleaner would probably take about 30 minutes to do the same wall-to-wall coverage, though I can move the chairs easier… Though I could just as easily put a few fo the chairs up and out of the way in a few seconds…

cool but what happens if you change the arrangement of the furniture in your apartment?
@pithikoulis nothing this robot use a sensor in its front ,rear and sides i saw one in a story ;D dont worry he will not fall from stairs greetings from japan
@JJOOKER I wasn’t meaning that.. I was meaning that the robot might get confused and leave a big area unclean. The stairs thing is a minimal problem 🙂
@pithikoulis Oh !!! now i understand what you are saying dont worry he has a sonar like a submarine i saw one in action ;D
does this thing have telescopic legs so that it could get up the stairs? If so, im out to buy one. lol
