I have tile floor with heavy traffic. I vacuum every day using iRobot. Then, right now using WET JET SWIFFER which works OK, but costly since you have to keep buying solution and the pads. I used to mop with a bucket, but I like the Swiffer for convenience since you do not have to mess with water and bucket. Any other suggestion? How about BIssell Steam Mop?
you mop every day?? Why?? I sweep and vac every day, but don’t see the necessity of mopping every day.
Once upon a time we had a maid and she damp mopped every day, the whole house! But I just don’t see the necessity of it unless you have muddy little boys running in and out with their dogs.
Damp mopping with a little vinegar in the water works just as well and doesn’t cost too much either. Wax once a month, scrub with detergent once a week.
I have saltillo tile in the great room, total pain to scour once every 3 to 6 months to get the grime out of the grout lines. And the wet jet thingys don’t work on it at all.
