In most instances, yes it will. The Rainbow is a fine machine, always has been. My late father was a distributor for them for many years. But Miele offers a variety of features Rainbow does not, including a motor with 140 CFMs, rugged construction, better filtration without leakage, and bags rather than a pan of water.

I must say I love Miele vacuums. They are great. I bought my mother one this past Christmas and she loves it. I bought her an Aerus Guardian in 08 new and she used my Miele last year and that is all it took.. The Aerus is a tank and the Miele is so easy to use. They are truly marvelous machines. Selling them should be a breeze. They work as advertised and last a long time.
