kgirl need help to clarify doubt about: : Does anybody have any tips on getting rid of cat hair?
My two cats are shedding like mad. I vacuum. I am constantly gathering cat hair. But, I still got cat hair on everything. I’m wondering if there is an easier way to do this. (I love these two cats so it’s not that BIG a deal but it would be nice to spend less time cleaning up after them!)
Try this:

Lint roller works for furniture. Also, brush them frequently (and you can even lint roll them to get loose hair off).
Give your answer to this question below!
brush them at night….we sit on the floor and brush our cats, they like it and it helps w/ shedding
vacuum every other day or so, is the best, also try giving them omega oils, it helps with healthy skin resulting in a healthy coat = less shedding. also brush the cats every other day. if you dont take away the fur the’ll leave it for you.
get rid of the cats? seriously, this sticky roll things work great, also once a week brush your cats. you can also get then hair cuts at places like petco and other grooming stores I have to do the for my cat, chloe as she sheds a lot!

Brush, brush, brush. Every day.
My cat will get all excited and chase me down if he sees the comb or even if I say the word “brush”. He LOVES it!
Now if I could just get my husband to brush his dog…………….:(
I hear you. I have 3 so I know what you’re going through. I just spend a lot of time cleaning and vacuuming.
vacuum and get a lint roller ( and get some febreeze allergen reducer)
shave the cat
I used to have 3 cats, and all black furniture. Uhhg.
It was a nightmare, till I got me one of them handy little
DIRT DEVIL HAND VAC with the mini power roller in it.
That dude cleaned every bit of it like a snap.
I don’t know how I went so long without one.
I brush my cat every night, I still have cat hair everywhere! I just live with it. I have one of those tape roller thingys by the door to clean up with on my way out, and when guests are coming, my kitty goes to the basement before they arrive, my final act in getting ready for company is to defur. When I have unexpected guests, I offer them the tape thing on their way out.
The shedding excessively could be a lack of a vitamin.
I feed my cats cooked rice with a can of mackerel mixed in –
stinks like nobody’s business LOL but gives them bright shiny eyes and great hair that isn’t so bad to shed.
I have 5 cats .. one who just had kittens.
I’m constantly sweeping. I go through MANY lint brushes. But thats just what you have to do.
I havent found anything easier.
I have two air purifiers. They help A LOT.
If you do not have money for one .. buy a cheap square fan from your local store .. also buy a filter like you would use for your house .. the one i bought was exactly the size of the square fan .. and i duck tapped it to the back .. WORKS PERFECT! (DIY)
good luck =)
There is a really good vacuum cleaner called the irobot that works. It somehow monitors where the hair is and automatically gatthers it up. It’s kind of strange but it really works!
This may sound cruel but you can train a cat to be vacuumed. I have one cat that loves it as long as he cant see the vacuum. It will not get rid of all the hair but it can help reduce it.
The other option is to bath them or have a groomer do it. The best way to do this is to blind fold them. Special cat blind folds are available at pet store. The cat are less reactive and less stressed when you blind fold them. If you do decide to bath them your self make sure the hair is completely dried.
The last option is to have them shaved. This is one usually for extreme cases. They will look funny because you can not shave a cats head, feet or tail. It will cut down the hair but your cat will need to be sheltered until the hair grows out a bit to avoid sun burn. I don’t recommend you do this on your own this should be done by a professional.
