Hitachi CV7100 vacuum cleaner, circa 1991. Rival to the Electroulx Dolphin and Hoover Compacts/Sprints of the time. Aside from the poor quality hose, and plastic extension tubes, it’s a very good quality vacuum. The suction is fantastic, and it’s very quiet. The floorhead is the standard Hitachi floorhead, and it copes very well with surface litter and pet hair. As with any cylinder, it’s lacking in deep cleaning. A top product.
