I got a 1971 ford mustang with a 302 and i want to know how to hook up a Vacuum Canister, like what vacuum lines i have to hook up to it. And will it help with the performance?

The hose into the bottom of the canister goes to the top of the fuel tank. The top hose goes into a suction port in the intake manifold. And you need a non-vented gas cap.
The system is strictly pollution control.
Are you referring to the evaporative emission control system charcoal cannister or a vacumn systems reservoir?
