Rainbow E Series Vacuum Cleaner – How it works

So I’ve had some requests for this one for awhile. So I dug it out of the basement and cleaned and serviced it. Here you go! I forgot how much I liked this machine, it may just be my new daily driver. Enjoy…

  1. I have a friend who sell’s Kirbys and he had a consumer wanted a rainbow. I traded rainbow for Kirby G4. I still have my two speed and I love it.

  2. Wow!That was a lot of dust build up on the back of that hepa filter.I thought these didn’t emit any dust from the water tank?At least thats what the Rainbow salesman told me.Haha..I think the just barely average power nozzle is keeping this from being a really good carpet cleaner.Maybe the aftermarket brushroll you installed helped it a little.Very good video:)

  3. @mysqueeker Me too. The sound is very relaxing to me. One of the few things that relax me now a days.

  4. Have you been able to test the new Aerus Lux Guardian Ultra? How would that, Kirby, and Rainbow compare against each other?

  5. @Soldier0117 In my opinion the new guardian ultra is just a 2100 it’s actually a step down from the original guardian. And I would rather have a rainbow over a kirby. But I will say there’s alot of vacs that will out do a rainbow.

  6. In that case how has the guardian compared to rainbow over the years? Do you know anything about the Thermax AF2? The reason I’m ask is because I want to rep for one of these companies but only for what I decide is truly the best. Lastly what’s your favorite machine?

  7. I counted exactly 811 steps to vacuum a floor. My homeowner’s manual states don’t flush FIBEROUS materials down the sink… Isn’t that water filled with carpet and hair? So should I be emptying my Dyson debris tank into the sink or the toilet?
