AWESOME!!. My wife’s Kirby is like a family heirloom and I can’t afford to put it in the shop. I got to the fan just fine but I couldn’t figure out what the hole was for. You people saved the day. I went to govacumn.com to maybe order the part but I saw no tab for Kirby. Figures………… those guys raped us on a switch replacement. Awesome info from you…… but as a Mechanical journeyman for many years….. one bit of advice…….put those screws in a cup or tray!!
@TheEzraben “put those screws in a cup or tray!!” alas, once again i told myself, it will only be a couple. what really gets me is that when i move in 2 weeks i will find the original screws and lose them for good before i get around to swapping them. us do-it-yourself types get along so well because we all do and enjoy similar things.
