what is the best vacuum machine for hard floor?

I struggle with dust allergy and it needs to be cleaned daily. I also have multi dogs and my regular vacuum machine wont do a good job at cleaning. Tiny particles and dust just comes right out from a behind I can feel them hitting my legs. Also it get extremely stinky with dog hairs even the bag is not nearly full.

  1. Not Dyson. For the money they charge, you could get a couple of different vacuums, better made and more effective, and have money left over for a few years’ worth of bags.

I can’t believe I’m about to recommend this: Swiffer. Since you’re allergic, the last thing you want to do is raise dust at all. A Swiffer damp mop will pick up hair and dander and that gunk sticks to the surface, which you then peel off and toss. Start over the next day with a fresh one. If you aren’t passing many many cubic feet of air through a device that’s designed specifically to suck dust and dander into the air, then you don’t need the HEPA filters and "cyclonic separators," do you? And God knows a Swiffer is cheap, not to mention quiet.

  2. A bagged canister vacuum would be best for hard floors with a horse hair floor tool, bagless machines when dumped tend to stir up a massive amount of dust and would just further irritate you. You can opt for a model with a HEPA filter but unless it’s sealed hepa filters are not all that effective

  3. i would try a vaccumm that has the optin to turn the bristles on or off. i have a dyson. i empty waste in a garbage bag and as soon as the waste is out of container and into the bage i pull on the drawstrings to prevent the dust partlicles from escaping and i do this outside. about evry other week
