I bought a Hoover Savvy a year and a half ago,it the best when it working right, now it having switch problems, motor problems and has been to repair 4 times since I bought it from Sears for 0.00.Whats the best vacuum bag or baggless upright or canister that I don’t have to morgage my house for?0-0.
Do Not buy a Shark Canister Bagless!!! It is merely ok for 1 room then the dirt collector needs dumped. No suction or power.
I don’t know who will agree with me, but the only way any vacuum truly works is sweeping your carpet with a broom and dust pan first then vaccumming. The reason is you pick up the big stuff and cat/dog hairs off the carpet so that you don’t clog up the vacuum. You will also prevent anything from breaking the belt or hairs/strings wrapping around the wheel.
By far, Miele is the very best. They are expensive but are well worth the cost since they have a really powerful motor and easy to use accessories. I have the canister type. I’ve had other vacuums that usually only last 2-3 years. I’ve had this one for 7 years and it works as well as it did when it was brand new. You don’t need their most expensive model, and many times, vacuum stores who carry this brand have less expensive, older models.
The hoover savy is one of the worst vacuums ever made, throw it away and go by a riccar, for an upright or miele for a cannister. In my fifteen years in vacuum sales and repair those are the best brands in the market. Try to go in to a vac shop to try them out, also there are many models to choose from so talk to someone that sells them so they can help you decide which one is wright for you.
