Best vacuum to buy for under 200$?

My boyfriend and I moved into a condo that we bought in October. We have 2 cats…
That means, a lot of furr and litter!! I vacuum basically every day!
The vacuum that we have now was really cheep…only about 20 or 30 dollars at Walmart. And we got what we paid for. Though I vacuum every day, theres so much hair stuck to the carpet.
You cant see it (thank god) becuase of the type of carpet we have…but I know its there…And I dont like it (its not good for allergies and such).

Becuase we’re new home-owners, and the WHOLE WORLD basically is in hard financial times, we dont want to spend TOO much money. We’ve been buying the basics and trying to save more (for emergencies)..

But we do need a new vacuum, and our MAX budget for that is 200$.

What are some good vacuums that we can get for that? I dont mind upright’s, canister, bag…it doesnt matter to me – as long as it picks the stuff up.

  1. Hi i have a cleaning company…we use ORECK vacuums they are the best….. Check at the Oreck store, I’m sure you will find a very good deal … many times they have specials, and good deals, just go there and find the one you need
    Good Luck : )

  2. I have only used one kind of vacuum for the past 20 years. Oreck is the best of all. The new ones are way more than your budget allows. However if you go to an Oreck store they always have trade in vacs that have been totally restored and will last for many years.I believe that you can find one near or below your budget.

  3. Just try out the "DIRT DEVIL. I ‘ve just heard it’s a good one thought. A condo will need a heavy duty type of cleaner. Good luck to you n B/F. Merry XMAS!

  4. After destroying several vacuum cleaners with human/animal hair buildup, I recommend a commercial eureka upright. It has a silver motor body and a red bag that you can take out and empty (saves on those filter bags). No light, no extras…but it pulls hair well! If you get hair built-up in the brushes, they can be removed and cleaned (or replaced). It’s the same model as the one my mom has been using for the last 30 years.
