I have a Golden Retriever and we go through vacuums it seems like every 6 months because of the dog hair. Our vacuum died today that was purchased in the summer. Does anyone know of a vacuum that is really good for picking up dog hair from carpets? My husband says there isn’t one invented yet. I’ve spent between one and three hundred dollars on vacuums and nothing worksl. They all burn out and the canister types get nasty.
I don’t know what you’ve tried. BUT. I bought a Dyson Ball this November and it is AMAZING! It picks up hair better than my roommates Dyson animal (not the ball, just the regular animal)!! ps: they also have a Dyson Ball Animal!
Just be careful to not let the bag get too full and it’s necessary to clean out the brush frequently especially if you live with someone who has really long hair, as in my case!
