looks good. I like the switch on the bottem of the handle. you cleaned it up well. i like the newer style tool caddy.

my dad has a similar model to yours. i think his was a step lower than this one cause on his, there was a foot pedal underneath the handle, it didn’t have speed control, just a high suction speed, and the power head didn’t have a light.
Nice rare canister! Lots of 1 and 2 speed boxes around, but the variable models are scarce. The hose was special for that unit. Don’t let this one out of your sight!

I have that same vacuum,the only thing is the speed control wont work and the power swich works on carpet and the power mate runs but i have to plug it in to turn it on! it wont turn off with the switch. i dont know whats wrong with it all the wiring looks fine. yours is awosome!!
Still have mine, still use mine. Car, Home, whatever, always works, and works the best. the thing is indestructable and hasnt lost any suction in 30 YEARS!
The Hose is starting to go and the cord doesnt rewind fully, about 60% of the way, but who cares. I havnt spent another dollar on vacuum gimicks or aristocrat englishman saturation marketers
