It is amazing how many Vacuum cleaners end up in the trash for reasons like broken belts or even worse clogs. My grandparents lived in suburban Philadelphia and my grandfather would find and revive these things almost weekly and donate them to the local thrift shops or give them to relatives. I know I have never paid for or been without a vacuum.
